As a Journeyman Commercial Carpenter with People Ready Skilled Trades, you'll support a commercial real estate company at a business park in Kent, WA. In this long-term, temp-to-hire role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. \

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $37 - $38 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Hours: Mon-Fri, 5am-1pm

• Tasks constructing commercial tenant improvements include: Interior wall demolition, metal stud framing, drywall(hanging and taping), finish carpentry (door/window framing/hardware, carpet tile/VCT, and millwork installation

• Painting, insulation, minor ceiling/ceiling grid work, acoustic tile, etc

  Qualifications:

• Must have 7+ yrs as a commercial carpenter primarily metal stud framing

• Strong attention to details and read blueprints accurately

• Ability to move heavy objects, including metal studs, sheetrock, power tools and other construction materials

• Ability to remain stationary for long periods

• Good communication skills to work as a part of a team

• Good organizational skills to keep all the tools functional and available when needed

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must have tool bags along with skill saw and cordless drill
