Job Description

A client in Kent, WA is looking for a Financial Manager to join their Pacific Northwest division. The team will consist of 9 managers, and this person will be responsible for overseeing 3 direct reports. On a daily basis, this individual will be preparing spreadsheets, working with internal and external customers to ensure the individual profit of files are accurate, and create work instructions and processes for the team. He/She will be responsible for collating and coordinating month end close and will be reviewing the movement of files; which can exceed 6500 files per month. The ideal candidate for this will be an expert in Excel, with a specific focus on Power Query, VLOOKUP, and merging files; and PowerBI. This role is required to be onsite 5 day per week and the salary ranges from $85,000-$107,000 per year.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in managing an AR/AP/GL function with total receivables in excess of $10m

Experience of internal control and internal check systems relative to Credit and collections

Experience in dealing with foreign currency receivables

Expert level experience using Excel

Proven success in driving down past due amounts and DSO figures

Experience utilizing internal systems for internal controls for processing invoices and cash receipts

Accounting/ Finance degree or equivalent Experience in the logistics or freight forward industry null
