Responsibilities Position Summary: Plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing packaging solutions for Snap-on products. Designs and develops product packaging to ensure packaging meets industry standards, minimizes environmental impact, and effectively protects our products during transit and storage. Selects, tests and analyzes materials for packaging based on durability and cost effectiveness. Identifies opportunities for improvement and efficiency and develops new concepts with emphasis on packaging manufacturability, customer satisfaction, and project timeframes. Project plans, schedules, progress, expenditures, and priorities are regularly reviewed to ensure goals are being met. Primary interface with purchasing, product management, distribution, marketing, sales, quality assurance and manufacturing. Assists Purchasing in making packaging sourcing decisions.
