Description
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Communications and Design Manager is to design, develop, and manage iLIFE communications and design work. This role is responsible to directly manage the iLIFE website, social media, brand management, creative content, and internal/external marketing materials. In addition, the role will oversee customer support through live chat and email.

Manages and has accountability for the performance and results of the communications team.
Manages and oversees implementation of all iLIFE and program specific communications campaigns, including the iLIFE website, program specific materials and all marketing materials for community events.
Facilitates and maintains relationships with business partners, stakeholder agencies, and advocacy organizations to effectively position iLIFE as an industry expert and community partner.
Manages design, printing, and stock of inventory/materials
Works with business partners across the US on program materials.
Manages customer support operations through live chat and email modalities.
Develop PowerPoint presentations, webinars, eLearning sessions, facilitated group learning sessions, outreach events, all-staff meeting materials, and other content create and sustain a voice and leadership role for iLIFE and CFI in selfdirection.
Coordinates, leads, and manages to completion projects and special assignments.
Serves as the communications leader for all iLIFE projects.
Liaison for CFI projects that impact or involve iLIFE.
Leads Graphic Design and Marketing effort by developing communication to support outreach, collaborating with iLIFE leaders, program representatives, and applicable vendors/partnermaintaining consistency with brand standards and marketing best practices.
Oversight and management of iLIFE website including developing vision, analyzing performance, managing content, and performing site maintenance.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Performs human resources responsibilities for employees which includes interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, employee development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
Responsible for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to funders, contracts, and CFI business.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials:
Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted
Minimum Required Education: Bachelors Degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or related field.
Minimum Required Experience: Proven experience working in marketing, graphic design, or a related field.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Ability to supervise and lead a team
Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat)
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience with Visio Pro
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Home and Community Based Services and Long-Term Care Support
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:
Physical requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
