Description
Job Purpose: Administers CFI’s group and individual benefits and compensation programs. Provides timely and accurate service to staff, manages processes for existing programs, and monitors vendor performance. Provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefits and compensation programs, to support and establish competitive programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinates and tracks employee benefits documents which may include benefit enrollment forms and related paperwork, FMLA/Personal Leave documentation and ADA documentation.
Proficient at presenting benefit offerings at regularly scheduled new hire orientation.
Provide one-on-one benefit orientations to employees transferring to a benefit eligible status.
Designs and distributes materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package.
Responsible for management of internal workforce issues for FMLA and personal leaves.
Responsible for managing FMLA and personal leave requests, serving as liaison with third party vendors, and is a knowledgeable resource for answering and resolving leave-related questions and customer service issues for leaders and employees.
Accurately determines how to record time and attendance for all employees on a leave whether paid or unpaid, and reporting it to Payroll.
Gathers information on incumbents involved in proposed salary actions, reviews facts and circumstances and makes recommendations on compensation actions that comply with legal requirements and conform with established guidelines and policies.
Reviews proposed new or revised classifications to develop recommendations for salary grade assignments, utilizing knowledge of prevailing rates of pay and established salary administration guidelines.
Partners with the HRIS Specialist to create, implement and maintain salary structure components in HRIS system compensation module.
Produces compensation related reports for decision making.
Participates in market salary surveys, edits job descriptions, and develops recommendations to adjust salary structure.
Other tasks, projects or duties may be assigned as required according to departmental and business needs.
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Finance or related field.
Minimum Required Experience:
- 3 years of experience in benefits and compensation administration.
Required License/Certification/Registration :
Issued By Governing Body:CEBS certification preferred, along with evidence of keeping current with benefits and compensation laws and trends by attendance at workshops and seminars.
Travel outside of office : 0-10% travel in the communities we serve
Required Valid Driver’s License: Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
Required Auto Insurance: Vehicle liability insurance in accordance with Agency policy

Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:
Physical Requirements: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
Visual Acuity : The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.
