The Senior Product Manager - Technical at T-Mobile is a visionary leader responsible for driving the development and optimization of API management, Gateway, and Authorization and Access Management services. This role involves defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and innovative features. The role requires deep SDLC, developer empathy, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to create impactful products that meet business goals. Be prepared for varied responsibilities, including market research, feature writing, technical delivery, and supporting go-to-market activities. No day is the same for the Product Manager, Technical. Day to day activities or responsibilities include: conducting API, Security & Gateway platform research; writing features or user stories; determining specifications; defining long-term strategy of the product; creating the product road map; driving technical delivery end to end; defining scope for releases/product increments; partnering with development, project/program management, and other key stakeholders to define release schedule; and support/drive go-to-market activities as needed. Navigate the complexities of emerging technologies and deliver exceptional developer experiences as a Senior Product Manager at T-Mobile. Evangelize API development, empowering API developers to succeed in creating high-quality APIs that help drive business goals. Steer the direction of our product offerings, from conceptualization through to execution. Collaborate closely with API Product Managers, Engineers, and Vendors, leveraging your technical acumen and customer-centric approach to make strategic decisions that enhance our service delivery. Connect with customers and translate their needs into actionable product strategies. Lead a team dedicated to exploring innovative ways to enhance connectivity and simplify customer interactions with our technology. Take full ownership of the product lifecycle for complex and high-impact consumer devices and network services. Engage in developer experience research and data analysis to inform product direction and innovation. Collaborate with key delivery partners and team members to enhance product strategies and customer experiences. Drive hypothesis-based testing and agile methodologies to refine product offerings and ensure market competitiveness. Communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, advocating for the product and influencing key decisions. Education: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required) Work Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in technical writing, production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture within a large-scale company/application/product environment. 7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.
