3rd Shift Production Supervisor located near Kendallville, IN for a leading manufacturer for the automotive industry. This role is responsible for directing associates in successful plant production operations.

Required qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Must have Production Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment (Automotive experience is ideal).

  • Ability to assist in preventive maintenance of equipment

  • Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

responsibilities:

  • Responsible for directing associates in successful plant operations while assuring safety, quality, production, and customer requirements

  • Responsible for assisting with materials planning and logistics, reviewing production data, and processing data

  • Lead and motivate employees by understanding all of the production, safety, quality, and customer requirements

  • Lead team meetings communicating quality and production information

  • Coordinate work assignments for team members

  • Review production data turned in from each operator

  • Assist in preventive maintenance of equipment

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

  • working weekends qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced

  • Minimum 3 years of experience
