COMING ATTRACTIONS THEATRES Assistant Manager in Training in Kenai, Alaska

This position is a sales-oriented position responsible for providing quality guest service in all areas of the Fun Center which may include: Guest Services, Redemption, Special Events and Parties, Laser Tag, Elements, Carts, or Concessions. This position allows the opportunity to obtain the knowledge and skills to become an Assistant Manager in a structured and timely manner, no longer than 90-days. Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains high level of customer satisfaction to meet Coming Attractions Theatres standards including engaging guests, making eye contact, smiling, and giving them your full attention
  • Understand Fun Center procedures pertaining to Guest Services, Redemption, Special Events, Laser Tag, Elements, Carts, and/or Concessions as assigned
  • Consistently keep the registration, redemption, and/or concessions area clean, organized and well stocked.
  • Ability and willingness to perform all crew and janitorial duties
  • Sell and process access cards, birthday packages, and/or concession items on point-of-sale terminals and make accurate change
  • Offer additional elements and/or games to complement guest's order
  • Maintain adequate cash funds and notify manager of the need for cash drops
  • At night's end make sure all elements, restrooms, and party room area(s) are empty.
  • Conduct crowd control
  • Control inventory levels at concessions and redemption

Requirements Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to actively listen. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in and comprehend English. Speaking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Ability to perform math calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
  • Ability to obtain a food handlers permit is essential.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and complete a background check prior to becoming an Assistant Manager.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and reaching.
  • Ability to talk, see and hear.
  • May occasionally be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
