Xylem Marketing Administrator in Kempton Park, South Africa

The main purpose of this position is to support the marketing organization through methodical and efficient administration for all admin, corporate gifting, activations and campaigns which will contribute to the overall success of the team’s delivery and implementation of all strategic and marketing objectives, throughout the business across all regions in Africa.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Administration

  • Raise PRs and follow up on POs and payments. Log PR/PO in a register.

  • Onboarding suppliers and NGOs.

  • Assist with shipping of goods.

  • Manage and plan tasks in task management system.

  • Hosting of monthly Townhall meetings.

  • Social Media.

  • Assist with other departmental tasks as and when required.

Corporate Gifts, Branding and Demo Equipment

  • Monitor and update inventory list of corporate gifts, clothing and brochures.

  • Monitor and update asset demo list.

  • Keep a record of available branding/banners and monitor movement thereof.

  • Manage the storeroom and equipment storage areas.

  • Maintain and update brochure repository.

Graphic Design

  • General graphic design for branding, digital marketing, campaigns, events and internal communications.

  • Navigating and extracting content from Digital Asset Management system (DAM).

Events and Campaigns

  • Provide event support (i.e. consolidation of RSVPs, packing gifts, corporate clothing, brochures etc.).

  • Data capturing of event leads.

  • Prepare new start packs for HR.

  • Consolidation of Townhall presentations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric/ Grade 12.

  • Post Matric qualification - Administrative certificate or Marketing diploma advantageous.

  • Graphic Design qualification.

  • Minimum 3 years experience within the marketing environment in a similar role.

  • Exposure to collaboration within the marketing team as well as other stakeholders.

  • Excellent administrative skills.

  • Ability to organise and structure work flows.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exposure to social media and digital channels.

  • Exposure to website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).

  • Graphic design experience advantageous.
