This is the entry-level engineering position. Handles design tasks and functions for assigned products or projects. Assists more senior engineers with project work to the successful completion of development projects.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

Assists, interacts and supports all functional areas within assigned responsibilities. Participates on project teams with more senior engineers. Has no direct reports.

-Interface with all functional areas to provide technical support.

-Work with project teams to provide technical data, initiate test requests, and summarize results.

-Utilize the CAD system to provide sketches and preliminary design drawings as needed.

-Assist the engineering test lab to provide test assemblies and post test analysis.

-Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or equivalent.

-1 to 2 years experience.

-Familiarity with personal computing, CAD and Office software.

-Good organizational and communication skills.

-Possess some degree of mechanical aptitude.

-Willingness to take a “hands-on” approach to learn and accomplish project goals.

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
