Academy Sports + Outdoors’ Marketing Team is looking for a Senior Specialist to grow our customer marketing function. This role will be responsible for coordinating CRM specific initiatives including loyalty, acquisition, retention, and development strategies, and will work cross-functionally to provide best-in-class CRM campaigns.
Job Description:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
Work Experiences:
2-4 years database marketing or CRM experience in retail
Proven track record of developing and managing CRM programs
Experience working with a CDP or data warehouse, building audiences and creating automated audiences
Experience with ESP platforms
Skills:
Excellent project management skills and ability to align efforts across multiple departments
Very strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
Understanding of marketing analytics (Google Analytics and Business Intelligence Tools)
Responsibilities:
Implement and execute marketing efforts for the retention programs, working cross-functionally with multiple teams (i.e. Digital Marketing, Brand, Creative, and eCommerce)
Manage daily operations of the CRM program including the marketing calendar, promotional planning, measurement/analytics and creative approvals.
Maintain a strong consumer relationship by developing CRM activations that lead to incremental sales, increased retention, engagement and loyalty.
Develop process to manage coupon offers, promotions, and touch points across customer segments
Analyze and report on campaign results and identify new opportunities in support of the CRM Roadmap
Work with CRM managers to develop and execute retention strategies and cross-channel consumer acquisition campaigns to meet CRM growth goals.
Build and execute offer testing plans across CRM tactics
Pilot programs while minimizing operational financial impact
Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
