Job Description:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study preferred
Work Experiences:
- 2+ years of retail store or website merchandising/operations or related experience
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external
Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent analytic skills with the ability to use key tools to dive deep and provide analysis consistently on performance metrics
Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
Analyze sales, profit performance, shipping cost, inventory position, allocation and replenishment strategy, and by channel fulfillment
Make inventory sourcing decisions based on by channel profitability, throughput capacity, and inventory holding capacity and evaluate results to improve future decisions
Creating seasonal order sourcing strategies and provide guidance on order sourcing rules in the order management system
Understand the capabilities and limitations of different fulfillment channels
Educate replenishment and allocation teams to monitor and analyze flow of items to ensure inventory is in the best place for capacity and labor plans, sales, and profit performance
Sales forecasting based on inventory placement decisions and historical trends
Execute item attribution to assure proper systematic sourcing by fulfillment and sales type
Work closely with Merchandising, Operations, and Omnichannel to ensure all stock positions are in place prior to campaign launches
Assist Customer Care in fulfilling customer orders by facilitating bulk order processes when necessary
Develop thorough understanding of Academy’s policies, procedures, and safety rules
Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
