What You Will Do

The position is responsible for:

  • The Finance Data Quality Manager is responsible to provide assurance to the business that the finance data made available in our ecosystem of applications (S4, MDG, Snowflake, OneStream etc.) is truly fit for business purpose. The DQ Manager is expected to provide this assurance by developing appropriate systems/reports that establish the Data Quality Index, monitor data flows across our systems, reconcile data as needed, deploy dashboards and business scorecards, and develop policies and procedures to meet finance group objectives. You will analyze the root causes of data errors and partner cross functionally to develop solutions to a variety of problems with varying levels of scope and complexity to resolve such errors. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the needs of all subscribing systems are reviewed periodically, and appropriate outbound interfaces definitions are developed successfully. Additionally, you will oversee the operation and cost effectiveness of our Data Quality efforts and identify ways to optimize further.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Develop and publish the Data Quality Index scorecard periodically.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.

  • Create and maintain documentation of data quality processes and procedures.

  • Provide training and support to team members on data quality best practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data quality management

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve data quality and accuracy in financial analysis.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex financial problems.

  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to business partners and finance staff.

  • Ensure appropriate financial processes and systems are in place in accordance with local government laws and corporate policies.

  • Oversee operation and cost effectiveness of operating systems and programs.

  • Analyze company actual performance vs. business plan, including pricing, profitability, and variances analyses.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in financial data quality management or related field.

  • Experience with SAP S/4, SAP MDG, Snowflake, Alation or similar enterprise systems.

  • Experience with deploying dashboards and business scorecards.

  • Experience in developing policies and procedures to operationalize the Data Quality function.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with data quality tools and techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, data quality management, and accounting principles.
