The Security Managed Services Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their Security Infrastructures and systems remain operational.

Through the proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving of technical incidents and problems, this role is able to restore service to clients.

The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA) and focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity.

The Security Managed Services Engineer (L2) may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.

What you'll be doing

Aufgaben:

• Sicherstellung des unterbrechungsfreien Betriebs im Rahmen der vereinbarten SLA’s.

• Frühzeitiges Erkennen von Fehlerzuständen (Monitoring und Event-Management).

• Schnelle Wiederherstellung des Regelbetriebs nach Fehlerzuständen (Fehleranalyse und -behebung).

• Bewertung von Change-Requests hinsichtlich des gewünschten Effekts und der durch den Change entstehende Risiken.

• Umsetzung von Non-Standard-Changes und anschließende Erfolgskontrolle.

• Dokumentation und Reporting.

Skills:

• Ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes technisches Studium (z.B. Informatik, Ingenieurswesen, Elektrotechnik) oder eine vergleichbare technische Ausbildung

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Security Engineering (Firewall, Proxy …)

• Spezielle Kenntnisse in den folgenden Technologiebereichen mit den entsprechenden

Zertifizierungen:

• PaloAlto Next Generation Firewalls

• PaloAlto Global Protect Remote Access

• PaloAlto Site-to-Site VPN

Wünschenswerte Kenntnisse:

• Erfahrung mit Cisco WSA/SMA

• Erfahrung mit Linux Systemen

• Erfahrung im Bereich Firewall: Troubleshooting

• Erfahrung mit Splunk Log Management

• Erfahrung mit Tufin Orchestration Suite

• Erfahrung mit HP Service Center

• Strukturiertes Vorgehen verbunden mit einer sorgfältigen, genauen und ergebnisorientierten Arbeitsweise, insbesondere bei der Problemanalyse sowie ausgeprägte Kunden- und Serviceorientierung

• Fließende Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
