Position: Senior Manager FP&A

Reporting to: Director Finance

Department: Finance

Division: Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD) - Commercial

Location: Karachi

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, FP&A, will lead the month-end financial closing and reporting process. Support the Finance Director in the preparation of the Annual Plan and quarterly Rolling Latest Best Estimates (RLBE) cycles . Plays a key role in projects with financial implications and assists the Senior Leadership Team in the preparation of regional/global project submissions.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure General Ledger is updated and reconciled with financial statements and ensure that financial balances appearing in GL are properly supported based on factual business information or objective accounting estimates.

  • Timely submission of all the monthly deliverables to METAP&CIS HQ in relevant standard formats & templates.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in planning and reporting activities.

  • Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.

  • Monitor and control Capital Expenditure and project expense variances (Actuals vs Plan/RLBE)

  • Monitor and review departmental expenses and ensure monthly circulation of reports with the relevant Senior Leadership Team.

  • Monitor and compare cash flow with Plan / RLBE and ensure that variances are within the acceptable range.

  • Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

  • CA, ACCA or MBA Finance.

  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
