About This Job
The Utility Specialist is responsible for assisting with coverage for all positions within the Accounting/Internal Services areas. Associate is responsible for the completion of responsibilities involving monetary impact as well as time sensitive deadlines. Therefore, Administrators, Investments, Clients, and all departments within Trust Operations are impacted by the timely and accurate completion of these responsibilities.
Processing incoming and outgoing wire transfers
Processing stop payments
Data entry and / or quality review of tax lot adjustments
Reversals and other file maintenance transactions
Printing and distribution of checks and trade confirmations
Processing check receipts
Balancing all trust activity with offsetting entries on a daily basis and PCM processing
Perform other duties as assigned
Internal Services Area
Receiving, sorting and delivering incoming and outgoing mail
Involvement in project work
Reviewing / approval of the daily processing for both areas
Perform other duties as assigned
50% - Daily coverage of Accounting/Internal Services positions.
50% - Assist in special projects in both areas as required along with assisting Supervisor with daily and periodic review / approval of team processing.
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required
Basic knowledge of bank accounting processes and related applications
Intermediate typing and ten-key entry skills
Strong accounting, problem solving and analytical skills
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
2+ Years Trust, Banking, or financial services experience preferre
3+ years customer service experience required
1+ year financial services or related experience required
