Aerotek Mechanical Assembler/Assembler-19$/hr-IMMEDIATE HIRING in Kansas City, Missouri

ASSEMBLER/MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

20$/HR

Description:

Contractors will be installing cabinets, racks, drawers etc...into the back of Transit vans and other trucks that have been manufactured by Ford and occasionally other customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This individual will be working in the assembly department. They will be using air tools to install cabinets, shelves, drawers etc...to the specifications of their customer. This position requires bending, twisting and repetitive movement to get in and out of the back of vans as they come down the assembly line. Will require being on knees and bending the majority of the time.

Skills:

Hand tools, Assembly, upfitting, upfitter, power tools, general production

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Upfitting experience is a plus.

PPE: safety glasses, and ear plugs NO STEEL TOES

Perks and Benefits:

  • This position can make up to $18-24 once going on permanent

  • Lots of room for growth.

  • The facility is very clean but non-climate controlled.

Pay and Shift:

Hours: 6am-4:30pm, might be some OT on the weekends. M-F. They are working about two Saturdays a month.

18+$/hr

Experience Level:

Entry Level-1-2 years of upfitting experience
