TITLE: Legal Admin Assistant

REPORTS TO: Team Lead Attorney

SALARY: Competitive salary commensurate with experience

POSITION/TYPE: Non-Exempt

Requirements: Minimum of 1-year relevant legal experience

Purpose and Value to the Team:

As a Legal Admin Assistant, you will support our Attorneys and Paralegals in their work to defend our clients. You will work closely with the legal team from the start of each case through to the end. Excellent communication skills, attention to details, and phone etiquette are a MUST in this role, as you will provider quality customer service to our clients, collaborate with other professionals involved in the case, and gather and provide necessary information and documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Save and file mail that is scanned into your SharePoint folder

  • Draft correspondence and standard documentation

  • Review cases in certain class codes to ensure all cases are being checked and updated every 30 days

  • Assist in monitoring the progression of each claim

  • Respect HIPPA laws and privacy of all cases and clients

  • Gather information from Insurance adjusters
