Compensation Range

Hourly: $26.25 - $35.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to work within the Institutional Trust Division to drive growth and expansion of the business. This work will entail designing and building presentations and marketing materials aligned with the brand, writing RFP responses for new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with team and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of content and responses, working with sales and service teams to build customized client sales presentations, assisting team in researching and building competitor research database, along with prospecting strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Recommend, design and build presentation materials and content consistent with brand standard and marketing objectives. Customize as needed for specific sales and service needs.

  • Serve as a content contributor and/or editor to drive relevant content pieces for clients and prospects

  • Complete Request for Proposals/Request for information for institutional prospects, clients, or consultants

  • Manage historical content for Request for Proposals

  • Research prospects to generate opportunities and sales leads

  • Research and provide competitor analysis to the sales team

  • Build and maintain an internal repository that easily allows the team to use all marketing materials, competitive analysis, content and other useful resources. Serve as a resource to the team in building additional resources as needed.

  • Interact with other departments within the Firm to support the sales team

  • Acquire a deep knowledge of internal product set and service offerings

  • Assist with additional various tasks to support sales and service team, as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Intermediate understanding of economics, financial markets, and performance analytics

  • Ability to work autonomously and build strong professional relationships with internal clients and data sources

  • Ability to coordinate with different teams and deliver projects on time

  • Excellent writing skills/professional email and phone skills

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 3+ years of professional experience, investment/banking experience required

  • Marketing and/or graphic design experience preferred

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $26.25 to $35.00 Per hour.
