Overview
The Audiologist III provides expert medical audiologic services for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss. The Audiologist III exceeds the requirements for Audiologist II and has specialized education knowledge in special populations, specialty hearing aids, research, or auditory neuropathy and acts as a leader in community for pediatric audiologic care.

Responsibilities
In accordance with certification and licensing standards, expertly performs and documents diagnostic and rehabilitative interventions to evaluate, diagnose and treat hearing loss.
Obtains advanced education appropriate to his/her level of practice.
Participates in activities to increase quality, efficiency and outcomes of patient care. Reviews QI plan and participates in goals to achieve the hospital?s strategic plan.
Demonstrates expertise in integrating information and sharing knowledge both within audiology and across disciplines.
Qualifications
Other Doctoral degree in Audiology (AuD/PhD) and 5-7 years experience Pediatric experience preferred. or
Master's Degree Master's Degree in Audiology (if obtained prior to 2006) and 5-7 years experience Pediatric experience preferred.
AUD LIC KS Licensed Audiologist KS State license in Audiology KS (required if working in KS) Required Upon Hire
AUD LIC MO Licensed Audiologist MO State License in Audiology MO (required if working in MO) Required Upon Hire
HEAR AID LIC KS Licensed Hearing Aid - KS Hearing aid license in KS (required if working in KS) Required Upon Hire
Certificate of Clinical Competence ASHA Preferred 90 Days

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $34.90/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
