DIT-MCO International Analog Hardware Engineer in Kansas City, Missouri

**Job Summary

The Analog Hardware Engineer role revolves around the comprehensive development of analog board-level circuit designs. This entails conducting simulations, crafting layouts, and executing validations to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications. You will be responsible for product characterization, implementing necessary hardware or software modifications to align with defined product parameters, and overseeing the prototyping, troubleshooting, and qualification processes of circuits.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Physics or equivalent experience with emphasis in analog circuit design.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools, preferably Mentor Graphics, and microcontroller-based systems TI and Microchip.
  • Exposure to I/O communication protocols (SPI, USB, etc.)

Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, quality, and efficiency.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and confidentially.
  • Proficient in both independent work and collaborative team environments.
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and determine solutions.
  • Capable of interacting and building relationships with internal personnel at all levels of the organization, as well as vendors and customers.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and manage time and projects effectively.

Primary Job Duties

  • Formulates analog board-level circuit designs, simulations, layouts, and validations.
  • Develop and complete all documentation related to new product development phases.
  • Creates presentations for internal and external customers using software tools to analyze data and create graphics.
  • Presents data at preliminary and critical design reviews.
  • Conducts product characterization and hardware/software development or modification to meet the required product definition.
  • Performs prototyping, troubleshooting, and qualifying of circuits.
