Process Engineer

job summary:

A national leading building materials manufacturer is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team near Kansas City, Kansas. This company has 60 manufacturing facilities with over 6,300 employees throughout North America. The Process Engineer will recommend and implement improvements to the equipment and methods of fabricating and packaging to the manufacturing process.

The starting salary is commensurate with experience up to $90K plus a performance bonus and great health/retirement benefits.

  • Responsible for production and process control for 4 production lines in KC.

  • Specific technical leadership and knowledge required for fabricating and packaging fiberglass products. Manage controllable expenses to budget specifications

  • Manage the Preventive Maintenance Program for all Cold End equipment to minimize down time and maximize efficiencies

  • Maintain current and strive to improve process specifications and audit systems to optimize Cold End equipment performance and implement changes to minimize variations

  • Participate in various plant projects such as safety, WCM, training programs and preventative maintenance days.



  • Experience level: Experienced
