Description and Requirements

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), firmware development, AI chip development, and PC power management. As a member of our Strategic Technology Team, you will design, develop, and optimize electrical systems and hardware components, focusing on efficient power management for PC systems. You will also be responsible for developing firmware that integrates seamlessly with advanced AI technologies and executing proof-of-concept (POC) projects to evaluate emerging technologies. Your role will involve delivering successful solutions to our Business Units (BUs) and presenting findings to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Design and develop electrical systems and components for AI applications, firmware development, AI chips, and PC power management.

  • Firmware Development: Develop, test, and maintain firmware for hardware components, ensuring integration with AI systems and efficient power management in PC architecture.

  • Power Management: Design and implement power management solutions to optimize energy efficiency and performance in PC systems.

  • POC Execution: Execute proof-of-concept (POC) projects to evaluate new technologies, including AI chips and power management solutions.

  • Technology Evaluation: Assess and analyze emerging technologies, AI chip advancements, and power management strategies, providing recommendations for integration into our product lineup.

  • Solution Delivery: Deliver successful POC outcomes and technology solutions to Business Units (BUs), translating technical findings into actionable insights and implementable solutions.

  • Presentation to Leadership: Prepare and deliver presentations on project status, technical challenges, POC results, and power management solutions to Business Units and senior leadership.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, AI specialists, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and execution of technology solutions.

  • Performance Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies, performance analysis, and optimization of electrical designs, firmware, and power management systems.

  • Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate the latest advancements into our products.

  • Documentation: Document design processes, firmware development, AI chip development, power management strategies, POC outcomes, and technical specifications.

  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on project status, technical challenges, and POC results.
