Description

We are seeking a Project Manager for our team in Kamas, Utah. This individual will be crucial to planning, prioritizing, and managing product development projects by coordinating with both internal and external allies. The role requires a robust understanding of product development cycles and the competence to lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside internal and external entities to outline, prioritize, organize, and manage projects ensuring on-time and budget-adherent completion.

• Create and control project governance plans, schedules, targets, success yardsticks, milestones, resources, and budgets.

• Implement data-gathering and reporting procedures to gather key project activity metrics and present reports to stakeholders.

• Assume complete responsibility for issue handling, risks, decisions, and overall project success when coordinating with internal and external teams.

• Ensure all project-related documentation and deliverable are meticulously completed in a timely manner.

• Use formal project management methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

• Apply principles of mechanical engineering for effective project management and execution.

• Manage cross-functional teams and resources by planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating others' work.

• Be prepared to travel up to 15%, nationally and internationally.

• Utilize tools like MS Project, Gantt charts, and Gate Phase methodology for monitoring and tracking project progress.

• Maintain and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders through outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

Requirements • Possession of a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in Formal Project Management.

• Proficiency in utilizing project management tools and software.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to travel as needed for project requirements.

• Experience in the relevant industry is a plus.
