Do you want to be a part of a great team? We are Loren's Auto Repair, a busy auto repair shop in Kalispell that has been in business for over 39 years. We are looking for someone to join our team as a shop assistant. This position is important in our customer's overall experience, whether it be giving them a shuttle ride back home or to work, picking up a part so the Technician can repair their vehicle in a timely manner, or washing their vehicle at the end of the repair. When not doing one of these tasks, the person in this role will typically help keep the shop, and grounds looking clean and neat, help keep inventory stocked and organized, and assist other employees where needed. Since this job involves operating a vehicle, it does require and clean and valid driver's license. This position will be a part-time to full-time position (20-40 hours per week).We currently work Monday through Friday, so there aren't any evenings or weekends required.Some of these Position Requirements:Washing vehicles after they are servicedCleaning up in the shop (sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage)Keeping the shop and grounds neat and orderly (free from clutter, debris, trash, etc.)Shuttling customers to/from the shopMaintaining shop equipmentPicking up parts and running errandsHelping the Service Writers expedite jobsAssisting Technicians with vehicles (on occasion)*Detailing vehicles (on occasion)
