Logan Health Manager Imaging Scheduling in Kalispell, Montana

Job Description Summary:

This position works closely with assigned leadership regarding strategic planning, program development, continuous quality improvement and financial/budget reporting and monitoring. Responsible for meeting financial and quality benchmarks and operational oversight of the assigned area(s). Manages and coordinates staff and activities to ensure optimum service. Responsible for workflow, performance, regulatory compliance, and the overall management of assigned area(s) operations to achieve exceptional care, superb service, and maximal productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related field.

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ leadership experience required. Experience in related healthcare leadership preferred.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ progressive work experience in a relevant healthcare setting required.

  • Possess knowledge and understanding related to research, preparation, interpretation, and presentation of comprehensive reports required.

  • Possess knowledge of government and reimbursement regulations, requirements and HIPAA guidelines as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Manages and ensures the day-to-day operating needs of the assigned area(s).

  • Ensures optimum patient care services from initial contact to close of services. Works with leadership to respond to patient concerns, fosters an environment of immediate service recovery and transparency for questions and issues. Drives culture to improve patient experience, service, and access.

  • Provides input into the budget process for the assigned area(s). Operates within the context of the established budget. Maximizes opportunities to meet and exceed budget guidelines. Monitors, provides statistical reporting, and implements changes necessary to comply with budget, maximizes revenues, productivity and efficiencies and contain expenses. Develops clear goals to address variances to the budget.

  • Works closely with the finance department and revenue cycle to support the timely, accurate documentation and response to revenue cycle requests as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all required legal requirements and governmental reporting regulations.

  • Ensures all business functions are operative and all processes and procedures are effectively and efficiently in place and are aligned with Logan Health policies and procedures. Creates goals in collaboration with assigned leadership for operations and ensures that these goals are in line with LH goals.

  • Ensures compliance with safety, risk management, infection prevention, workplace safety standards and quality standards as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • As applicable to assigned area(s): Monitors and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory practices to include, HQAA accreditation standards, FDA, DOT, HIPPA, Medicare/Medicaid.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
