LC Staffing Maintenance Technician in Kalispell, Montana
Maintenance TechnicianA local facility is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and operational environment for customers, tenants, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve issues promptly. You will play a key role in ensuring the building remains in top condition, contributing to a positive experience for all visitors.Starting Pay: $22/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-timeEssential Functions and Duties:Perform general preventative maintenance to the buildings industrial systems, equipment and grounds as needed and monthlyCoordinate with licensed contractors and vendors on all HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment repairs, escort vendors and monitor vendor performance while on-sitePerform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, respond to and complete work orders accordinglyMaintain the grounds of the facility during weather events, including snow removalBecome familiar with equipment items such as building automation systems and fire/life safety systems, respond quickly and effectively to all emergency situations and support any after-hours building related emergencyMaintain security by monitoring transient activity and mall customersQualifications:Basic knowledge of engineering policies, procedures, plumbing, HVAC, lighting and electricalAbility to work in a typical maintenance environment requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis. Position requires manual dexterity, carrying, grasping, standing, sitting, climbing ladders, climbing, walking, and repetitive motions with hands and armsAbility to communicate and develop an effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives and agencies.Valid driver’s licenseAbility to pass a background screeningGet in touch!
