Glacier Paving Landscape Laborer in Kalispell, Montana

Landscape Laborer.  4 temporary, full-time positions. 04/01/2025 to 10/31/2025.  Glacier Paving and Plowing, LLC DBA Glacier Paving located at  190 Batavia Ln, Kalispell, MT 59901.  BatGPP@gmail.com. Provide support for skilled/seasoned employees with shovels, rakes for spreading aggregate and soils, plant flowers, trees, and shrubs, move hoses and hand tools to assist with other employees. Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. 40 hours per week. Varying number of hours per workday depending on shift Monday-Saturday; Shifts vary, 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m. or 7:00a.m.-5:00p.m. OT hours possible 10 hours of OT possible. High School/GED required Experience is required. 3 months . The employee will not supervise other workers. Travel will be required. Daily transportation provided by the employer to worksites Work will be performed in the following counties: Flathead. Wage: $20.16/hr; OT Wage: $30.24/hr. Workers paid biweekly. Optional board/lodging available at a cost to be deducted from pay if elected. Cost of housing: $500/month. Other deductions: $500 security deposit for lodging to be refunded if there is no damage or cleaning required. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company’s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers’ reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $15.88/day during travel to a maximum of $59/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of total employment period.
