Description We are offering an opportunity for a Project Coordinator in the manufacturing industry, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks related to mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, and reports. This role requires a high level of organization and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and correspond with various teams within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) reports.

• Coordinating and collaborating with various disciplines including Project Management, Purchasing, and shop/field foremen.

• Ensuring the extraction of accurate BOM from fabrication drawings.

• Resolving work procedures, complaints, and construction problems with supervisory personnel.

• Working closely with Detailing Manager, Shop Foreman, and shop personnel on drawing inquiries.

• Maintaining department standards for consistency and recordkeeping.

• Ensuring code or standard compliance in collaboration with Detailing Manager.

• Working with QA/QC to ensure all traceability documentation is created and maintained properly.

• Utilizing tools and technologies such as Plant 3D, Acorn, Navisworks, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. to perform tasks efficiently.

• Reviewing, marking-up, and modifying drawings from others within the department. Requirements • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management

• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Familiarity with database management and operations

• Experience in handling EO/IR systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Proficiency in using About Time for time tracking and management

• Understanding of budget processes and financial management

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation

• Knowledge of construction processes and procedures in a manufacturing setting
