Zoetis, Inc. Developing and validating analytical chemistry methods in support of veterinary pharmaceutical drug development for both companion animals and livestock. Be part of a multi-discipline safety team working collectively to ensure the safety of edible tissues for human consumption, collected from livestock treated with pharmaceuticals. Developing and validating robust analytical methods to quantify residues of veterinary pharmaceuticals and biotherapeutics in blood/plasma, tissues, excreta, and other matrices at the low ng/g to pg/g level. Developing study designs and protocols for in vitro and in vivo studies. Collaborating with other VMRD groups and partners to provide high quality and seamless support for projects. Serving as Study Director, Principal Investigator, or Contributing Scientist in GLP studies. Monitoring studies conducted at Contract Research Organizations. Writing or contributing to study reports and regulatory submissions. Rapid response to regulatory, manufacturing, and product support queries globally. Participate/lead continuous improvement and innovation efforts within the Metabolism & Safety residue group. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals sciences, or a related and 5 years of experience required. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, will accept a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals sciences.
