*Position: *Forklift Operator

*Pay: *$17- $20.00 p/h

*Shift: *3rd shift

Hours: *5:00 PM to 1:30 AM *Schedule: Monday through Friday * Must be able to work weekends. Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated areas, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, maintaining accurate documentation of shipments.
  • Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Inspect forklifts daily for operational and safety issues, reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits, assisting with stock rotation and inventory management.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including sorting, labeling, packaging

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • 1-2 years' experience with Stand up, Sit Down and Reach truck operating
  • Certification for operating forklifts a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
