What You Will Be Doing Working as an Emergency Mental Health and Same Day Access Clinician you will be responsible for working both in the office and within the community to provide assistance with various mental health related needs, including working with individuals in a mental health crisis as well as completing assessments and referring to ongoing services. This includes providing clinically appropriate crisis interventions to individuals in a mental health crisis, assisting community members with information mental health resources and completing same day access assessments. Emergency Mental Health Clinicians work as a team and work in a variety of roles for the Kalamazoo County community.
*This full-time position will consist of varied shifts with some hours into the evening; evening shifts include an additional shift premium. *
What We Require Master's degree in human services or related field and a minimum of 1-year experience working with adults that have a serious mental illness, substance use disorder or co-occurring condition. A valid Michigan Driver's license and Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW/LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LLC/LPC) or Limited License Psychologist (LLP) is required. CAADC and/or a development plan preferred.
