Title:

Distribution Engineer

Hours:

Hiring for first shift! Must be flexible to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Must haves:

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering degree (EE or CE preferred) is preferred and 0-2 years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree

• Associates Degree will be considered with 1-3 years relevant experience.

• Relevant experience is either working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering

• Experience using CAD tools

About:

You will play a vital role in connecting new homes and commercial businesses to the energy grid or upgrading existing connections. Selected individuals will perform field work, collecting notes, pictures, and measurements to create work packages. Electrical analysis and material selection will follow, leading to a complete electrical work package for the utility company's field installation team. This role requires a combination of field work, design work, electrical analysis, and bill of materials creation.
