About the role : President - LATAM, Veralto

Reporting into : Vice President - High Growth Markets, Veralto

Location : Sao Paulo, Brazil

LATAM is an important growth region for Veralto, and it continues to accelerate. With over 1500 associates, LATAM contributes 500M annually growing HSD.

The complexity and unique needs of these distinct markets will continue to require focus, attention, and support to enable Opco success.

The President - LATAM, Veralto will be a critical part of the High Growth Markets Leadership team to support & accelerate growth initiatives of Veralto & our Operating Companies (OpCos).

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Support execution through Insights and visibility

  • Lead the Veralto LATAM Council; Provide insights of future Market (region and cross-OpCo view) opportunities and risks for Veralto.

  • Work with Opco GMs to supplement their execution by providing the right network and influence to represent Veralto internally and externally.

  • Identify potential headwinds and partner with the OpCo to countermeasure accordingly

  • Build relationships & represent Veralto with large Strategic customers / Govt bodies / Industry forums / Regulators.

Growth

  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth via enhanced market visibility; collaborate with the OpCos to drive execution by helping them understand on what it takes to win

  • Partner with the Veralto OpCos and Corporate Development teams to identify, prioritize, cultivate inorganic opportunities in-Region and deployment of capital.

  • Advise and coach LATAM regional leaders to meet or exceed all Veralto’s CVD targets including growth, operating margin expansion, quality, delivery, cost, associate retention, internal fill rate, working capital and return on invested capital.

People and Culture

  • Lead the hiring of senior leaders ahead of the curve, bring a local POV on talent, and develop and move talent across OpCos / Regions.

  • Lead organization and talent chess boarding to build and develop a world class diverse and engaged workforce with strong leadership and succession capabilities.

VES & Operations Excellence

  • In partnership with OpCos, reinforce VES discipline and growth mind-set related to achievement of KPIs including VMDM oversight

  • Drive Backoffice synergies across Opcos & Platforms where practical including simplification and automation opportunities.

  • Establish a system of governance to strengthen the compliance culture and provide insights into the health of the organization.

  • Drive a culture of integrity and compliance ensuring adherence to the Veralto Code of Conduct and local country laws and regulations.

  • Lead a diverse Corporate Functional team to support growth & infrastructure for the Region; Support functional councils, in VES, HR & Finance, to develop and accelerate growth opportunities.

  • Manage & deliver on corporate budget for the Region.

Critical Experiences & Expertise

  • Strong blend of strategic thinking and execution excellence; Ability to learn quickly, simplify complexity and operate a regional multi-opco complex organization effectively.

  • High emotional intelligence, work collaboratively with leaders, associates, and customers at all levels.

  • Highly motivated self-directed leader with a bias for action and driving change when needed. Willing to make hard fact-based decisions, comfortable with an unstructured/changing environment.

  • Ability to lead during challenging situations while navigating through ambiguity to create and deploy a clear and motivating vision with clear priorities.

  • Credible Commercial & Leadership experience within the Region.

  • Must have handled scale / size; exposure to manufacturing will be an added advantage.

  • M&A experience in the Region.

  • Ability to influence local and Global OpCo leaders in a matrix environment without direct solid line reporting relationships.

  • Ability to instill Veralto culture with all associates in the region while respecting cultural differences.

  • Ability to command strong followership among customers / partners & associates.

  • Business Degree from a reputed institution
