Quality Consulting Group JT748 - ASSOCIATE ENGINEER SPECIALIST in Juncos, Puerto Rico

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and plans layout for activities.

  • Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.

  • Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

  • Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

  • May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

  • Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

  • Complies with company programs, procedures and applicable quality system regulations and standards.

  • Leverages technical expertise and knowledge of Medtronic's standard engineering approaches, design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

  • Assist in leading sensor research, development, and integration programs through cross-functional collaboration with technical subject matter experts and an extensive understanding of the product development process.

  • These efforts span across the research and development of the sensor chemistry, electrodes, algorithm, manufacturing processes, sterilization, and conducting in-vivo feasibility studies to meet specific clients and business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • 1 to 4 years of related experience

  • Manufacturing environment experience.

  • Medical device or Pharma environment experience.

  • Validation Knowledge

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish including writing & verbal.

  • Available to work on 3rd shift but training will be on 1st shift
