Job Description:

CDM Smith is now accepting applications for Water & Sanitation Engineering Experts to participate in an Inter-American Development Bank-funded Project Management Office consultancy for an expansion and improvement of drinking water and sewage services in the City of Juliaca, Peru. The project will be administered by the Peruvian Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation's (MVCS) National Urban Sanitation Program (PNSU).

Interested individuals, either on a long-term or short-term basis, are invited to submit their applications and CVs, specifying their areas of expertise based on the below disciplines:

• Drinking Water Treatment Plants

• Drinking Water Supply Systems

• Sewer Systems

Positions will be based in Juliaca, Puno, Peru.

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in Civil or Sanitary Engineering.

• Postgraduate studies in projects or linked to your specialty.

• General experience of no less than 10 years in the public or private sector, linked to their specialty, from

obtaining the professional title.

• Specific experience of no less than five (05) years related to the construction of drinking water and/or

sewage and/or sanitation works whose accumulated value is equal to or greater than USD$50,000,000.

• Specific experience of no less than three (03) consultancies related to the supervision/consulting of

drinking water and/or sewage and/or sanitation projects, whose accumulated value is equal to or greater

than USD$30,000,000.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on multilateral and bilateral donor-funded projects (MCC, USAID, World Bank, etc.)

Background Check and Drug Testing Information:
