Job Summary

Grande Cheese Company in Juda is looking for our next Maintenance Planner Scheduler. In this role you will c oordinate between the production, engineering, and maintenance functions with guidance and support from the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and Team Managers to improve workforce productivity and work quality by proactively eliminating potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, machine time and manpower. You will communicate and schedule with onsite vendors for preventative maintenance and repairs. Also assist in the planning of plant shut downs for maintenance purposes.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • Associates Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or other related technical field required. An equivalent level of experience may be considered.

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Maintenance required, preferably in a technical/mechanical role.

  • Experience working with manufacturing and maintenance management systems.

  • Experience in technical writing preferred.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EAM and the ability to learn.

  • Intermediate understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.

  • Adequate understanding and knowledge to prioritize, make estimations and develop schedules.

  • Intermediate oral / written communication skills, possess tact, and the ability to negotiate needs in balance with other requirements.

  • Intermediate administrative and mathematical skills with willingness to handle paperwork.

  • Intermediate planning, organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to keep multiple jobs in controlled motion – simultaneously.

  • Orientation and commitment to customer service.

  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations to Associates and external customers/vendors.
