Description

Position Objective:

Directs and coordinates all activities associated with processing, driving the plant toward efficient operations, by performing the following duties personally or through other employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 2nd Shift Supervisor.

  • Confers with management to establish processing goals/objectives and overall direction of Leeco processing.

  • Lead all day-to-day processing operations for specific site.

  • Work with Sales and CAD departments as needed to ensure feasibility of new and existing processing.

  • Work with Maintenance on machine maintenance and PM’s to ensure we are maximizing machine uptime.

  • Confer with Quality and Operations on process control for quality inspections. i.e. first article review, AQL inspections, etc…

  • Develop training materials for processing, as well as other training materials as necessary.

  • Provide education and mentoring to employees on processing and improvement techniques.

  • Work with all necessary departments on Root Cause analysis.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring to insure that

    Project goals, objectives and metrics are being met and maintained.

  • Create metrics, deployment goals, and objectives to drive accountability and efficiency throughout the

    plant.

  • Manage the planning, facilitation, and completion of improvement projects to support cost reduction

    objectives.
