The Senior Valve Assembly Technician position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, youll use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders and uses manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials. Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and performs minor maintenance to equipment.

As a member of the Valve Technician team, youll perform maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on various types of industrial valves.

What You\'ll Do:

  • Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, assembly and testing of valves included but not limited to, safety valves, XS flow valves, heater coils, or bottom outlet valves
  • Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
  • Examine valves parts for defects, dents, or loose attachments, and mark malfunctioning areas of defective units. Disconnect and/or remove defective or unauthorized valves. Replace defective parts and reassemble units according to customer specifications
  • Test valves and gauges for leaks and accurate temperature and pressure settings, using precision testing equipment
  • Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and ASME National Board standards that apply to the job
  • Thoroughly complete all maintenance, calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs to include test results, material usage and repairs made
  • Travel to job sites when required and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements
  • May train others in the standards and processes of the role
