The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in providing comprehensive HR support to the Operations team. This includes driving the effective execution of HR processes, employee relations, and teammate engagement. Position also provides coaching and guidance to supervisors and teammates to recommend solutions to business issues, and plays a critical role in talent acquisition, on boarding, development, retention, and administrative initiatives and functions within HR.
JOB DUTIES
- Provide employee relations guidance to employees and management within scope of position; identify and actively respond with sensitivity to the needs of employees and business unit leaders
- Oversee the day-to-day support of Human Resources (HR) transactions in collaboration with a shared services team
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; assess, communicate, interpret, and administer updated HR policies and procedures to assigned area
- Deliver benefits information to employees based on company handbook/policies and procedures; ensure fair, equitable and consistent application of all company policies and procedures
- Assist with investigating a variety of employee-related issues, incidents, and complaints; resolve disputes and recommend appropriate/remedial actions
- Support in recruiting/hiring by interviewing, presenting offers, facilitating candidate logistics, scheduling on boarding, and administering the training/orientation process
- Assist in the development and implementation of programs or information regarding HR policies, procedures, or information
