Trinity Rail is hiring a 2nd shift Career Material Handler at our Jonesboro plant.

As a member of the materials and distribution family at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Operates mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
What youll do:
Expedites the movement of parts and material between warehouse and production areas by lifting or otherwise moving raw materials and/or parts\ Prepares and coordinates schedules for pulling and delivering materials to control the flow of goods and regulate production floor space\ Safely operates appropriate equipment required to move materials along production floor\ Responsibilities may include activities related to shipping of materials or finished goods\ Stages and maintains storage of finished goods for scheduling of shipments\ Ensures security and accountability of materials\ Ensures packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of lading\ Complies with all company safety rules, and procedures\ Operate all lift trucks to transport materials\ Learn and maintain knowledge of parts and materials required in the production process\ Pull and delivers (unloads and loads) materials as requested\ Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and procedures\ Perform other duties as assigned
