Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician I to join their team. As a Lab Technician I, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting product integrity and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician I

Location: 100% Onsite - 3001 Channahan Road, Joliet, IL 60436

Pay Range: $25.28 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform repetitive, basic laboratory testing on multiple types of products produced at the plant.

• Conduct basic laboratory testing on incoming raw materials.

• Report testing results in the SAP electronic database accurately.

• Maintain a clean and orderly working environment, performing basic upkeep of both working areas and laboratory equipment.

• Safely collect samples for testing outside of the laboratory when necessary.

What's Needed?

• A minimum of an associate degree in a related field (e.g. chemistry, biology, etc.).

• Laboratory experience (coursework/occupational).

• Basic Wet Chemistry skills.

• 0-2 years of experience required.

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
