Secret Regular We are pipelining candidates for a future role. Contingent upon Contract Award Valiant is seeking a Logistics Specialist I for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locations. Essential job duties include but are not limited to: Logistics Specialist will be working in a warehouse environment with duties that include but are not limited to processing orders utilizing commercial software, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by team leader. Responsibilities: Oversees shipping, receiving, packaging, and storage of items in stock locations IAW Government and contract guidelines. Assist in providing oversight of all Government and contractor property, tools, and test equipment. Perform inspections and accountability of all property. Work with minimal supervision, documenting inventory and shipment of property and work orders via local and web- based reporting system, Providing system functional briefings to team, customer, and management team. Perform logistic support requirements such as research, equipment, and spare part inventories. Provides logistics guidance and work leadership IAW contract requirements and work processes; Provide effective communication to/from your subordinates and upper management. Able to conduct a quality audit to ensure corporate and contract compliance. Conduct property turn-in to the Defense Logistics Agency. Complete and file receiving reports and documentation Prepare reports as required Participates in special projects as required Perform all other duties as assigned. Document all logistics actions (inventories, transfers, etc.) by inputting data into the ISTS. Mental/Physical requirements for this role include: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate. Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height. Willing to work a flexible workweek. Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privileges. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation. This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent Relevant Bachelor's degree and/or experience in logistics or related area US citizenship is required. Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
