Business Development & Capture Senior Director - Readiness Division Concurrent Technologies Corporation Location Negotiable. Travel Required.

CTC is seeking a Senior Director for Business Development and Capture to join our Readiness growth team! In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships across our target markets and executing our largest and most strategic capture efforts.  This position requires hands-on development of a portfolio of business opportunities across short/mid/long-term timeframes. This position will require a team player capable of successfully building, leading, and mentoring cross-functional BD and capture teams to develop and execute discriminating win strategies from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and award.

Key Responsibilities: Work in close collaboration with Readiness program and technical leadership to develop and execute business development and capture strategies that will secure new contract wins. Define compelling and differentiating win strategies to include customer engagement, solutions development, competitive assessments, shaping strategy, teaming strategy, pricing strategy, and bid/no-bid recommendations to senior management (based on a price to win and other competitive assessments). Lead the effective execution of qualified capture pursuits using the CTC business development process and gate controls, tracking capture performance against budgets and schedule, and communicating ongoing capture status to Division and Corporate leadership. Demonstrate excellent critical thinking, win-strategy development, problem solving, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to develop teams and construct near-term and long-range strategies to maintain qualified pipelines. Develop marketing strategies and providing input into market account plans with assigned account BD and P&L leaders that align with the company's strategic plan. Develop and maintain high quality relationships with internal leadership and external customers/partners. Sustained ability and reputation of winning complex, prime integration services contract awards for government with values routinely reaching over up to $50M single-award deals which meet and exceed challenging goals and quotas. Participate in writing winning proposals. Effectively and ethically engage federal procurement acquisition process across the full range of contract types (non-IDIQ, IDIQ - single or multiple award contracts), as well as payment types (e.g., FFP, T&M, cost plus) is expected.

Basic Qualifications: Possess a Master's degree and 10 years or more or a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years or more of directly related experience. A demonstrable record of accomplishment in business growth in RDT&E and/or professional services in support of Federal Government contracts or other programs in the areas described below. A demonstrable extensive network of senior level relationships in government and/or military organizations or associated contractors, with the ability to penetrate respective agencies or organizations for business growth. Ability to elicit customer mission and business needs along with drivers and constraints and communicate these to company experts and decision-makers to shape robust, innovative solutions. Outstanding record of success in leading teams in winning new business opportunities and improving bid and program profitability, with emphasis on capture strategy and proposal development. Outstanding verbal, writing, and inter-personal skills needed to communicate effectively and persuasively with personnel at all levels, both in customer spaces and within CTC. A demonstratable track record of pipeline development including short term to long term opportunities across a range of dollar value contracts.

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated success in business development with prior experience in the majority of the following technical areas: Readiness, continuity, and preparedness solutions Safety and occupational health services Advanced learning solutions Professional services, and other areas of national interest Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and contracting, acquisition trends, customer buying behaviors and industry BD best practices (e.g., Shipley). Position currently allows remote work but will require ability to be onsite with customers in the DC metro area or other areas as required to achieve the above responsibilities.
