FM Corporate Travel and Expense Financial Analyst III in JOHNSTON, Rhode Island

Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Travel and T&E, this position is responsible for performing routine and non-routine Corporate Travel and T&E reporting and analysis of varying complexity to support management decision making. Sourcing information from various members of the Corporate Travel and T&E department, this position is ultimately responsible for the accurate and timely production of many Corporate Travel and T&E reports that are distributed to Executive and Senior Management.

This role will perform the necessary research and investigation to answer questions originating from report recipients. Periodically, this position will be required to develop new reporting and analytics based on changing business needs and senior management information requirements. Furthermore, this role will be charged with scrutinizing existing Corporate Travel and T&E reporting business processes to identify process improvements, efficiencies and reporting enhancements.

Schedule & Location:

This position is office-based in Johnston, RI. Four days in-office required with flexibility to work one day remotely.

• Conduct routine and non-routine reporting and analysis of moderate to high complexity to inform decision making, wholistically owning the entire reporting process (up to and including final review and resolution of stakeholder inquiries).

• Determine the best approach to collect data, prepare reporting/analyses and ensure completeness/accuracy/relevance of the same.

• Effectively interpret the results of reporting/analyses to identify trends of noncompliance with policies and procedures and communicate the same to management.

• May assist in the development of new Corporate Travel and T&E policies and procedures.

• Closely works with the Manager, Corporate Travel & T&E to develop new and improved reporting construction methods, incorporating new technology where possible.

• Effectively collaborates with members of the Corporate Travel and T&E department.

• Assist in deploying new business processes associated with Corporate Travel and T&E department, where necessary.

• Support various Corporate Travel and T&E department projects.

• Prepare comprehensive battery of documentation supporting the reporting construction and delivery process.

• Involved in Corporate Travel and T&E system issue resolution (primarily conducting root cause analysis).

• Provide reporting and analytics in support of various Corporate Travel and T&E projects.

Required:

• Five to eight years’ experience in accounting/finance with reporting and analysis focus required.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ownership orientation with strong follow-through.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to recognize, schedule and manage priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently within specific timeframes and deadlines.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel; Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration preferred.

• Power BI a plus.

• Previous Corporate Travel and/or T&E exposure.

The hiring range for this position is $88,400-$127,100. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
