Thoracic Surgeon / Overview We are recruiting for growth planning and have an excellent opportunity for a Thoracic Surgeon who has proven good patient outcomes, leadership skills/ability along with an empathetic, caring demeanor with patients.
UHS has a commanding cardiac market presence in the region and an excellent referral base. Ideal candidates will have 5 to 10 years of experience but open to new grads, be board certified/eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery, and have strong expertise in robotic and endoscopic thoracic procedures. 1:3 night and weekend call.
Currently, the UHS Heart & Vascular Institute has 13 cardiologists, 12 cardiology Nurse Practitioners, 2 cardiothoracic surgeons, and 3 cardiothoracic surgery Physician Assistants, along with 7 cardiology Fellows.
