Family Enrichment Network Lead Teacher in Johnson City, New York
Lead Teacher - The Lead Teacher leads the classroom team in assessing and responding to the individual needs of Head Start in either a full-day classroom or two half-day sessions. This person provides daily support and assistance to classroom staff and volunteers.
<P> Education - <LI> BA Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education, or related with 12 credits in ECE
<P> Hours - <LI> Some Nights and Weekends.
<P> Major Skills - <LI> Models positive child-development practices. <LI> Coordinates the scheduling of classroom activities <LI> Develops clear, reasonable, consistent, and age-appropriate rules and expectations for children <LI> Respects and acknowledges children's feelings by communicating with children in a positive manner, and providing a supportive social and emotional climate.
