Hours: Monday to Friday plus alternate Saturday mornings
Job Summary
We are looking for a Commercial Associate (Sandton) to enhance the customer experience and grow our client portfolio across the SADC region.
Overall Purpose
To focus on the customer experience and develop key relationships with SA-based clients
To promote continual improvement, humility, and safety across the Group
Maintain and update pricing database/customer database
Consolidate information for preparation of the end-of-month newsletters and reports
Prepare and propose sales quotations to management and follow up for approval
Analyzing trip costs financials to improve profitability for the fleet
Identifying and applying for tenders/ business opportunities
Assist the finance and BD team on any purpose when needed
Formal Training/Education/ Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (ideally in the logistics sector)
Formal qualifications in logistics/supply chain preferred
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Strong background in Excel
Confident in working with numbers
Knowledge & Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and arithmetic skills
Self-motivation, leadership, and innovation
Excellent written English and conversational Mandarin is considered an advantage
