Position Summary 岗位概要：

The VAVE Mechanical engineer will work cross-functionally in supporting Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) programs including lab equipment system cost reduction and quality-based product enhancement for existing commercialized products.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities 基本工作职能及责任 :

Lead and take responsibility of design optimization of VAVE projects and manage the update of mechanical system and/or sub-system designs to improve quality and cost. Design and detail mechanical components and sub-systems according specification, including conducting predictive analysis and calculations. Select materials (metal and plastics) and processes appropriate for those designs with should cost benchmarks. Detail 3D and 2D files incorporating Design for (mass) Manufacturing and Design for Assembly requirements. Successfully interact with key group members in electrical Engineering. Technical support to sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and other cross function departments. Conduct supplier design review and ensure adequacy of supplier part qualification. Lead ideations sessions, drive concept creation and decision making with proven prototype building Active participation in multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the supplier transfer process.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably MS in mechanical engineering.

• Proven ability to design & develop mechanical solutions for lab equipments

• Proficient in using mechanical CAD software (both 3D modeling and 2D drawing)

• Experience in finite element analysis and structure design.

• Working knowledge of designing to IEC 60601 standards(preferred)

• Ability to work within a cross functional organization with good communication skills.

• Structured problem analysis and solving

• Must be open-minded to assure best design is chosen

Experience Qualifications:

• Prefer work experience and strong capability in refrigeration system design.

• Fluent English in both oral and writing communication.
