Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, LLC seeks a Vice Presidentin Jersey City, NJ
Develop and execute data strategy, transformations, and the roadmap to deliver use-cases across marketing, targeting, lead management, digital, and product strategy. Drive the integration of data assets to create a unified customer experience between digital, financial consultant and financial advisor channels. Be the product owner of data assets including the enterprise data warehouse and data lake. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the data needs, provide clear business requirements, and partner with technology teams to deploy the solutions using agile methodology. Define data architecture for cross platforms integration and create one view data warehouse to enable central decision making and analytics. Define, implement, and manage the business logic for centralized curated and derived data assets along with ODL creation techniques and matching of the data sets. Own and manage data quality rules, and partner with the data governance teams to ensure that our data remains of the highest quality.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $172,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as an Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with: data analytics and strategy, and data product management; SQL, SAS, Python, Spark, and Pandas; Agile Methodology. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Hadoop, and RDBMS; Cloud technologies including AWS or Azure; Snowflake, DB2, Tableau, or Jupyter Notebook; python libraries including Seaborn, ggplot, matplotlib, Scikit-learn, mllib, and nlp; statistical and ML techniques including regression and classification.
